What is Accelerate AI?

Accelerate AI is a four-week program that connects Tallahassee-Leon County businesses with practical, implementable AI and cloud solutions. Led by the Office of Economic Vitality and delivered in partnership with AWS and Nub8, the program provides expert support from initial assessment through implementation.

Accelerate AI gives businesses a clear path to adopting AI with confidence. Participants receive hands-on guidance to select and deploy the right solution for their operations, whether it's an AI Assistant, Sales & Inventory Forecasting, a Customer 360 Dashboard, or Intelligent Document Processing.

Tallahassee-Leon County's economy is growing faster than the state and nation — Accelerate AI helps local businesses grow with it by equipping small and mid-sized businesses with enterprise-grade AI solutions adapted to their size, goals, and day-to-day operations.

Is there a cost to participate?▼
No. Accelerate AI is a partnership between OEV, AWS, and Nub8. AWS funds the implementation and provides up to $300 in credits so you can test your solution once Nub8 delivers it and completes the knowledge transfer — at no cost to your business.
What happens after the AWS credits run out?▼
Your business moves to paying AWS directly for the infrastructure your solution runs on — at AWS's standard rates, with no markup.
How many businesses will be accepted?▼
Accelerate AI runs in monthly cohorts of 7–10 businesses each — so there's always a new cohort opening up. We keep each cohort small so every business gets hands-on, personalized guidance. Every business that registers is invited to participate, so we recommend registering as soon as possible. Once you do, we'll email you to confirm your registration and let you know which cohort you're part of.
Is there a deadline to register?▼
There's no fixed deadline — registration is ongoing, and each monthly cohort fills up as businesses register. We recommend registering as soon as possible so we can get you into the next available cohort.
How much time will this take each week?▼
Plan for about 30 minutes, once a week, for the 4 weeks the program runs. You'll set the exact day and time together with your Nub8 engineer at your kickoff meeting. Staying engaged in that weekly conversation is what drives results.
Who qualifies for this program?▼
There's no rigid checklist — what matters most is that you're based in Tallahassee-Leon County, in good standing with the county, have decision-making authority, and have a real operational challenge AI could help solve. Being open to continuing with your solution after the 4 weeks is a plus, though not required.
Is it safe to connect my business's data?▼
Your information is handled with the same security standards as AWS — the same infrastructure trusted by banks and major enterprises. Nub8 only accesses the data needed to build and implement your specific solution.
Do I need a technical background to participate?▼
No. Accelerate AI is built for business owners without an in-house tech team. Nub8 handles the build, implementation, and training from start to finish.
Can I choose which of the 4 solutions I get?▼
Yes — during your 1:1 discovery session, a Nub8 engineer maps your business's specific needs and helps you choose the solution that fits best: AI Assistant, Sales & Inventory Forecasting, Customer 360 Dashboard, or Intelligent Document Processing.
